Lingerie Size Guide: Find Your Perfect Fit

Finding lingerie that fits perfectly is key to feeling confident, comfortable, and stunning. At Angel After Dark, we know sizing can be tricky—especially when shopping online. This guide makes it easy to measure yourself at home, ensuring you choose the ideal size every time.

How to Measure Your Bra Size

What you'll need:

  • A soft measuring tape
  • Non-padded, well-fitting bra (or measure braless)
  • Mirror (optional but recommended)

Step 1: Measure Your Band Size

1) Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your torso directly underneath your bust, where your bra band sits.

2) Ensure the tape measure is level and snug but not overly tight.

3) Round this measurement to the nearest whole number.

Calculate Band Size:

  • If your measurement is an even number, add 4 inches.
  • If your measurement is an odd number, add 5 inches.

Example: If you measured 29 inches, add 5 inches—your band size is 34.

Step 2: Measure Your Bust Size (Cup)

1) Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust (usually at nipple level).

2) Round to the nearest whole number.

Subtract your band size from your bust measurement. The difference determines your cup size:

Example: If your bust measurement is 37 inches and your band size is 34, the difference is 3 inches—your bra size is 34C.

How to Measure for Panties and Lingerie

Panties and other lingerie pieces usually rely on waist and hip measurements.

Waist: Measure around your natural waistline—the narrowest part of your torso, typically just above the belly button.

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually 7-9 inches below your waist.

Ensure the tape measure is snug but comfortable and parallel to the floor.

Now that you're equipped with accurate measurements, it's time to explore Angel After Dark collection and find your next favorite lingerie set—confidently knowing it's going to fit beautifully.
